Sweet Awakening Tea

This naturally sweet licorice spice tea is a crowd pleaser. Don’t be scared off by the licorice root, it is a natural sweetener, it does not add the highly controversial black licorice flavor.

Some people only grabbed for spiced teas in the fall and winter. I never tire of this blend. You can enjoy this tea warm or iced. As an iced tea it provide a healthy substitute to Sweet Tea.

In addition to sweetening the palette, licorice root sweetens the voice. For centuries licorice root has been used to sooth irritated throats.

Ingredients: Black Tea, Cinnamon, Ginger, Licorice, Orange Peel, Cardamon, Anise, Cloves.

Loose Leaf Tea Brewing Instructions:

1. Choose a strainer type: bombilla spoon, pot, infuser or tea bag.
2. Put 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of herbs in a cup depending on strength preference: 1-2 tablespoons per pot of tea.
3. Bring water to a boil and steep 5-7 minutes. Our teas are blended to not get bitter from over-steeping.
4. Enjoy!
