Ponche is a bright and aromatic mulling spice and sangria starter inspired by the warmth and festivity of Mexican Christmas Punch. This modern floral-and-spice blend opens with a tart, juicy brightness and finishes with a bold, bracing depth. Each batch is crafted to bring color, aroma, and celebration to any gathering.
Inside the blend, you’ll find a lively mix of citrus, flowers, and warming spices. Orange peel adds brightness. Cinnamon and clove offer comforting warmth. Cardamom and anise bring depth. Hibiscus creates a beautiful ruby color. Rose, elderflower, chamomile, and damiana add soft floral notes that round the flavor into something memorable. Together, these ingredients create a mulling spice experience that feels both traditional and delightfully new.
Ponche can be simmered with wine or cider for a cozy drink or used as a sangria starter for a refreshing party punch. However you enjoy it, Ponche brings joy, flavor, and celebration to every cup.
Ingredients:
Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Rose, Hibiscus, Elderflower, Chamomile, Damiana, Anise
Brewing Instructions:
Add 2 Tbsp of herbs to one bottle of wine or 1 quart of cider. Add 1 oz honey as a preservative if needed. For sweetness, add apples or oranges. Enjoy with friends responsibly!

- Choose a strainer type: bombilla spoon, pot, infuser or tea bag. Any teaware will do!
- Put 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of herbs in a cup based on strength preference: 1-2 tablespoons per pot of tea.
- Bring water to a boil and steep for 5-7 minutes. Our teas are blended to not get bitter from over-steeping.
- Enjoy!
- When you finish enjoying your brew, add water and offer the tea to your yard. The grass and the planet will thank you!
