Full Circle Mulling Spice

Full Circle is a riff on Chinese Five Spice. A collection of warming herbs for the fall to satisfy those tired of pumpkin spice everything. This blend started as a collaboration with a local brewer. The herbs were carefully selected to stand up to the hoppyness of a Hazy IPA.

Full Circle pays homage to the Silk Road and all of the delightful flavors it brought us. India Pale Ales were developed to prevent beer spoilage during the long journey along the silk Road which brought back the very spices used in this blend. Adding these herbs to your brewing project completes the circle. It is also great for mulling wine.

Ingredients: Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Fennel, Damiana, Black Pepper, Szechuan Pepper, Anise, Bergamot

Brewing Instructions: Add ¼ oz of herbs to one bottle of wine or 1 quart of cider. Adding 1 oz of honey provides a preservative if you need it. Add apples or oranges instead of honey for sweetness. Enjoy with friends responsibly!
